What is ZedVault?

When do you open?

We open in Lusaka first. The date isn't set yet. Everyone on the waitlist hears first and gets in before the public opening.

What do I get for joining the waitlist?
  • Early access: shop before the public opening.
  • Free delivery on your first order.
  • Your own share link. Each friend who joins with it moves you closer to the front.
How do you check sellers?
  • Every shop is reviewed and approved by our team before it opens.
  • Every seller passes an identity check before they can be paid.
  • Items are inspected before they ship, and sellers who send wrong or damaged items are flagged and reviewed.
  • Ratings come only from buyers who received the item.
How do I pay?
  • Mobile money or card.
  • You pay ZedVault, never a stranger's number.
  • Every payment gets a receipt with your order number.
What if my order arrives wrong?
  • Damaged, the wrong item, faulty or not as described: we replace it or refund you.
  • We can't take returns for a change of mind at launch, so check sizes and details before you order.
Where do you deliver?
  • Across Lusaka at launch, with more towns after.
  • The delivery fee depends on your area and shows before you pay.
What do you do with my email?
  • We use it to tell you when we open and to send your early access.
  • We never sell it. Every email has a way to unsubscribe.
  • The Privacy Policy has the details.
Is the letter of intent a contract?
  • No. It says you plan to sell on ZedVault when we open, and it holds your place.
  • You can withdraw any time by messaging us.
  • The only promises in it are ours: your Founding Seller terms, and how we look after your details.
What does it cost to sell?
  • 10% commission on each sale for Founding Sellers. The standard rate is 12.5%.
  • No listing fees and no monthly fees.
  • Payment processing fees come out of our commission, not your earnings.
When do I get paid?
  • 80% of your earnings from a sale is yours as soon as the buyer's payment is confirmed.
  • The other 20% follows when the buyer confirms delivery.
  • You withdraw to mobile money. Before your first withdrawal you pass a quick identity check.
How do my orders reach buyers?
  • You drop orders off with us, or we collect from you. You choose.
  • We check each item, pack it in ZedVault packaging and deliver it.
What can I sell?
  • Clothing, chitenge, shoes, bags, jewellery, phones, electronics, home goods, baby items, crafts and more.
  • Not at launch: food, medicine, cosmetics or anything illegal.
  • A few higher risk items need our approval before they go live.
What is a Founding Seller?

One of the first 20 sellers to sign the letter of intent. Founding Sellers get:

  • 10% commission instead of 12.5%.
  • A Founding Seller badge on their shop page.
  • Setup help from our team, and the chance to list before the public opening.
Do I need a computer or a shop?
  • No. Your seller dashboard is built for your phone: products, orders and earnings.
  • Selling from home, from WhatsApp or from a market stall is fine.
